Odlin County Park: San Juan County Parks and Fair Department

Facet stepped in for a consultant to design and oversee construction phase engineering and landscape architecture services for this park improvement project. The project included reconstruction/relocation of approximately 500-ft of existing shoreline access road, construction of a new day use parking area, construction of an ADA accessible car and trailer boat ramp parking area, reconfiguration/reconstruction of seven existing shoreline campsites, construction of two RV campsites (one meeting accessibility guidelines), and construction of a new gravel connector path. Facet provided a new design approach that limited wetland impacts and associated mitigation to approximately 35,000-sf of wetland including grading, installation of habitat structures, and associated plantings. Approximately one quarter-acre of wetland mitigation provides public access and wildlife viewing opportunities.
