Marinas Study: North Dakota Parks and Recreation

Facet assisted North Dakota Parks and Recreation Department with a Statewide study of four marinas ; Garrison Bay, De Trobriand, Lake Sakakawea and Lewis and Clark. The state has seen significant growth in demand for seasonal moorage and boat launches necessitating a detailed look at plans for growth and investments in the marinas along Lake Sakakawea.

Facet's scope of work included site inspections, repair recommendations, concept development and cost estimating. BST’s conducted a study that included a market analysis and economic needs analysis.  The study resulted in a large legislative CIP budget bill going to the governor and State legislature in 2024. Facet continued work by identifying a phased maintenance and moorage expansion plan to meet basic needs identified in the study.
