In 2014, Facet began working with the Whidbey West Water Association to address chronic leaks and aging infrastructure. We assisted the Association in securing a $25,000 planning and design grant, along with project funding through the Washington State Department of Health’s Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Loan program.

Facet has partnered with the Sierra Country Club Water System for over a decade, providing planning, treatment system design, infrastructure upgrades, and on-call support. We’ve helped improve operations and extend system life through targeted improvements like booster pump upgrades, pressure manifold redesign, and the replacement of a failing ozone/Birm® system with a more efficient sodium hypochlorite/GreensandPlus treatment process.

The Langley Utility Improvement project has fourteen (14) subprojects with scope primarily focused on upgrading drinking water, sewer, and stormwater infrastructure. Facet has led the design team through numerous phases of the project, including initial site investigations, contract document preparation, and permitting for the project, and will continue to support the City during project bidding and construction.

Facet performed a comprehensive analysis of the physical and legal capacity of the CAL Waterworks system.
